If you’ve ever been to a music festival, you know that it’s a world of its own. Time and space merge into one, and all that matters is the present moment. This was the inspiration behind the project we recently undertook for our client VT Pro Design. For this new venture, we combined our expertise in creating unique experiences with Ray-Ban’s established brand to fabricate the Ray-Ban x Coachella Sensorium.

The mission was to transport festival-goers on an interactive audiovisual journey through several different landscapes in the Sonoran Desert. We achieved this by constructing six distinct rooms within an unassuming white-walled structure. The installation included features like super-reflective cacti embedded with concert lights and interactive pillars of light that responded to visitors’ movements. To further enhance the experience, VT wrote a voice-over script for the installation – a wise spirit guardian that led visitors from room to room.

The main goal with this project was to create an immersive and interactive experience that fully engaged visitors. To accomplish this, fixtures were designed that required guests to physically interact with them.

The Ray-Ban x Coachella Sensorium was an unforgettable experience that combined our expertise in interactive installations with Ray-Ban’s well-known brand. It was a privilege to work on a project of this scale and complexity, and we are proud of the end result.
